FeroxAI, SIA publishes Ferox TV, Ferox Player, Ferox VinylOS, Ferox CRM and the website feroxai.ai, and is the controller of the personal data described here. This policy applies to all of them unless a product section below says otherwise.
In short
- We collect only what a product needs to work. We do not sell personal data and we do not show advertising.
- Our apps contain no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs and do not track you across other apps or websites.
- Your data is stored on our own servers in the European Union.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time.
Ferox TV
Ferox TV plays sources that you add yourself (playlists and portals) and keeps your channel order, favourites and settings in your account so they are the same on every device.

Film and series descriptions, posters and ratings are requested by our server from The Movie Database (TMDB) using titles only. No personal data is sent to TMDB.
Ferox TV does not provide television channels, films or other content. You are responsible for having the right to use the sources you add.
Ferox Player
Ferox Player plays files from your device. Your files, their names and your viewing history stay on your device and are not sent to us.
Where Ferox Player offers an online search for subtitles, the title or a technical fingerprint of the file you are watching is sent to the subtitle service to find a match. Nothing else is sent, and only when you start the search.
When the app updates itself, it requests the update from our server, which sees the app version and your IP address, as any web request does.
Ferox VinylOS
Ferox VinylOS is used by venues. The venue is the controller for its own data; we process it on the venue’s behalf.
The guest tablet does not ask guests for any personal information and stores no guest identifier, device fingerprint or IP address. It records only anonymous counts (searches, records opened, records queued) and the records played.
Ferox CRM
Ferox CRM is deployed for business clients. Each client is the controller of the data in its deployment, and FeroxAI, SIA processes it as a processor under a separate data processing agreement with that client. Requests about such data should go to the client company first.
This website
feroxai.ai does not use cookies, analytics or tracking. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) for security, kept for a short period. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply, and keep the correspondence as long as needed for that purpose.
Legal basis
- Performance of a contract: account, sources, settings, device records — needed to provide the service you asked for.
- Legitimate interest: crash logs and server logs — to keep the products secure and working.
- Legal obligation: records we must keep under Latvian law, such as accounting documents.
Who receives data
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with providers that run our infrastructure on our instructions, such as our hosting provider in the European Union, and with authorities where the law requires it. Apart from Google Fonts on this website and the title-only lookups described above, data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to hello@feroxai.ai; we answer within one month.

You can also complain to the Latvian supervisory authority, Datu valsts inspekcija (dvi.gov.lv).
Children
Our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Ferox TV includes parental controls so adults can lock categories.
Security
Data is stored on servers we operate in the European Union, and access is limited to the people who maintain the service. Parental control PINs are stored only as salted hashes.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes are also announced in the affected app.
